Us Exec and RAs have been having a ball with y’all and we hope you’ve been having an equally great time during your first few days here at Mount A. With any luck, we’ll be posting some photos that we’ve taken throughout the week on this site here and on Facebook, so keep your eyes peeled. James (the vacuum cleaner) had a great time at Mountie Mania and Mount Alympics and is super excited (along with the Exec and RA team) for the year ahead.
Moving away to university is an overwhelming experience for everyone, so be sure to check out these websites set up by the Wellness Centre here at Mount Allison to keep your health in check and your academics on track.

JAMES THORNTON

This is our trusty mascot, James Thornton. During the day he is one of our house vacuum cleaners, but by night he is a party animal. Here he is pictured on the night of the North Side Rez Crawl where he had his own drinking ticket and was dragged along from hall to hall having the time of his life. He is known to be brought out on the rowdiest of nights in Thornton and has occasionally served as a receptacle for various bodily functions. If you’re a single lady, watch out, for as our Social Chair Georgia can attest, he is pretty promiscuous.
